We are very proud of the programs that we offer to the current ME students along with the opportunities that we provide for future students.

Our offerings to prospective students include events such as

• UAME Day, a program introducing high school students to robotics
• Giving tours on Capstone Scholars Day
• Giving tours on E-Day
• Judging Science Olympiad competitions

We also host a multitude of events on a weekly/semesterly basis for the current ME students including

• Bi-monthly cookouts
• Bi-monthly section meetings
• Seasonal intramural sports teams
• Dead Week Movie Night

However, ASME's involvement around the department and campus does not end there. ASME is an integral part of the recruiting process in the Mechanical Engineering Department, providing the resources and time commitments to ensure a steady stream of quality students for the future of the program.
